I know 2020 and 2021 till now has not been the year for everyone.
People found love, people broke up, people passed away, people were tested positive and a lot of other things happened. I just have to say this that not every day or week or month or even a year would be that great for you.
It is okay to give up at times.
It is okay to cry.
It is okay to not do anything some days.
It is okay to fail.
It is okay to not always be perfect.
It is okay to say no to people.
It is okay to take out time for yourself and prioritise yourself.
It is okay to be selfish.
It is okay to consider professional help.
It is okay to binge Netflix and eat and sleep.
It is okay to give yourself a break at times.
It is okay to be smiling a lot and not look or sound crazy.
It is okay to be eating a lot of food.
It is okay to be insecure and get conscious.
It is okay to not always be the first academics wise.
It is okay to colour your hair.
It is okay to just eat a lot of chocolate and sweets.
It is okay to be happy for others.
It is okay to spend birthdays on your own.
It is okay to listen to sad songs even if you are in a good mood.
It is okay to be accepting yourself the way you are.
It is okay to get low at times.
The list doesn’t end because these things are normal and there could be others that you feel is okay to be okay about. Just remember that it is okay to make mistakes and not regret about it every single time you think about it. Shit happens. Just move on from it or else it might keep affecting you.
